About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Nexus HR Services. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to work with families and caregivers, integrating therapeutic techniques into their daily routines.

About the Position:

  • This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
  • Able to evaluate and diagnose patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat children with communication disorders, speech and language delays, swallowing, and articulation disorders.
  • Complete and submit accurate documentation for all corresponding treatments provided (SOAP notes, Evaluations, & Plan of Cares).
  • Participate in monthly case management meetings to review goals and therapeutic progress.
  • Work in close relationship with the administrative team to provide high-quality administrative customer service.
  • Know and become compliant with HIPAA and how it relates to the scope of the position.
