Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.

Responsibilities:

* Administer respiratory therapy care and life support to patients
* Conduct pulmonary function tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment
* Set up and operate specialty equipment, including mechanical ventilators and pulmonary function tests
* Monitor patient's physiological responses to therapy
* Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist patients with breathing exercises
* Consult with physicians in the event of adverse reactions
* Maintain patient charts and department records

Requirements:

* Bachelor or Associate's degree in Respiratory Care Program or grandfathered through AARC
* License in Respiratory Care
* Mandatory Basic and Advanced Life Support Training
* CPSI and MAR for Neb Rx
