Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Medical Assistant to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Senior Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing administrative and support duties for our Breast Health Oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative and support duties for the Breast Health Oncology department, including clerical office duties, patient registration, and scheduling.
  • Assist in preparation for patient appointments, including obtaining records and assisting the doctor with minor procedures.
  • Maintain a therapeutic environment for patients and ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the S.P.I.R.I.T. Values of LifeBridge Health.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Work independently and accurately with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to three years of progressively responsible administrative and/or medical office experience, preferably related to surgical care.
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with office automation systems and ability to maintain efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work rapidly and accurately with minimal supervision.
