Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services within our public schools. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students enhance their communication skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous, but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
