We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Manage patient records, including posting tests and examination results, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans, and respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, with an Associate degree in Nursing or higher.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS & PALS certification is required.
