Job Overview

Proactive MD is seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Workplace Health Specialist. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to employees, promoting health and wellness, and preventing illness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to employees, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs to encourage healthy behaviors and prevent disease.
  • Collaborate with employers to design and implement workplace health initiatives that meet their specific needs.
  • Conduct health risk assessments and develop personalized health plans for employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in primary care and workplace health.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care environment.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
  • Nationally Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical providers.
