Job Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist at MU Health Care, you will be responsible for actively identifying and participating in training, education, and development activities, supervising Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Students, administering treatment that requires advanced skills, completing documentation according to UMHC and department guidelines and policies, and maintaining standards in accordance with the code of ethics of the AOTA and the State of Missouri Practice Act. You will also perform comprehensive patient evaluations, correlate data from the assessment to determine an individualized occupational therapy plan of care, and complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure by the Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy. OT Limited permit holders must be a graduate of an OT program. Preferred qualifications include additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
