Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Courier/Driver to join our team at Federal Express Corporation. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver packages to customers within the designated service area.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and ensure that all packages are delivered in accordance with our standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including providing coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned.
  • Good driving record and ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Excellent human relations and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area.
  • Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
