Certified Nursing Assistant 0.01 FTE Night

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our decentralized nursing unit, you will provide administrative and technical support, collaborate with staff and leaders, and perform CNA II patient care duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and prioritize transcription of provider orders
  • Assemble and maintain patient charts, current forms, and results/reports
  • Serve as the hub of all communication for the unit, displaying professional interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, public, and staff
  • Provide front-line customer service
Requirements:
  • Coursework/Training and Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience
  • 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a healthcare environment
  • Coursework/Training and Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course
  • Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties
  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2
