Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, administering treatment plans, and delivering cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms, and functioning.
  • Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, while monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
  • Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services.
  • Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of post-education experience in outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Valid and current, unrestricted, California NP and Furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
  • Valid degree, Master's degree (or higher), from an accredited institution.
  • Valid California DEA registration.
  • ANCC PMHNP Board Certification.
  • Autonomous practice ability.
  • Child, adolescent, or adult experience.
  • Proficiency with EHR.
  • Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
