Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage clinical staff, including hiring, performance management, and employee development.
- Coordinate staff education, competency assessment, and training programs to ensure clinical excellence.
- Assess staff performance and promote engagement through regular evaluations and action plans.
- Manage employee leave requests, create monthly work schedules, and maintain personnel records.
- Oversee clinical staff charge capture activities to ensure revenue opportunities are maximized.
- Provide information to billing and coding requests related to clinical issues.
- Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget and oversee petty cash, change fund, and bank deposits.
- Manage supply ordering, inventory control, and cost containment.
- Process vendor invoices and check requests as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of appointment schedule templates and updates.
- Oversee on-site laboratory testing, ensuring all policies and procedures are in place.
- Manage vaccine ordering, ensure correct administration processes, and track stock levels.
- Work with PCS staff to ensure providers and patients' needs are met.
- Provide clinical coverage as needed to providers.
- Support practice operations with a focus on lean principles and best practices.
- Assist with the maintenance and training of office, laboratory, and medical equipment.
- Respond to patient requests and complaints, documenting in EMR and other required processes.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Establish and participate in CPG and Corporate goals.
- Maintain applicable records according to retention guidelines.
- Act as an EPIC Superuser, attending webinars and implementing system updates.
- Liaise between practice and institutional resources.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Cover office operations when needed.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of clinical experience.
- Virginia RN License.
