Position Overview

Dewberry is seeking a Geospatial Program Leader to join our Geospatial Technology Services (GTS) Business Unit. This role is integral to our national operations, supporting various geospatial, lidar, remote sensing, mapping, and GIS technology solutions across multiple markets.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and writing skills, essential for developing proposals, managing projects, and producing high-quality mapping and reporting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate client relationships and align their needs with Dewberry's offerings.
- Lead project teams to ensure successful delivery within established scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with business development to strategize on pursuits.
- Develop compelling proposals that address geospatial project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive task order proposals, including technical and cost components.
- Implement project controls utilizing Dewberry systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to manage their contributions effectively.
- Assess and manage project risks in collaboration with clients.
- Ensure deliverable quality aligns with project parameters.
- Draft and oversee client invoices through to collection.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and respond to feedback.
- Represent Dewberry at conferences and networking events.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the geospatial and A/E/C sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in technical writing and editing.
- Experience in scheduling and conducting meetings with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, MS Project, MS Teams, and MS Office.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as GISP and PMP are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of current GIS and IT technologies.
- Familiarity with federal geospatial programs and remote sensing technologies.
