Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of surgical procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a clean and safe operating room environment
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
