Job Summary:

Montrose Regional Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Acute Rehab Unit team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their optimal level of physical function.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and modify treatment programs to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Direct and supervise physical therapy services to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients
  • Pursue professional growth and development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy
  • Assist with educational duties and perform administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, plus certification or higher
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the A.P.T.A.
  • Current licensure by the State of Colorado as a P.T.
  • BLS Certification required
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of management practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally
  • Interpersonal skills and sound judgment necessary for interaction with a multitude of individuals, including patients

Work Schedule:

Shifts from 9A to 3PM, Monday to Friday, with weekend coverage required on specific dates.
