UNC Health Care, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Care Provider to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual to provide high-quality nursing care to our patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care to residents/patients, focusing on their safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport residents/patients to designated areas within the facility, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Document food and fluid intake and output, as directed by medical staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents/patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control regulations.
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in call bell, alarm, or intercom system response to address resident/patient needs promptly.

Requirements

  • Hold a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Be listed as a Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant in a clinical specialty is preferred.

Salary Information

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $23.46 per hour, based on experience and internal equity.
