ESS Substitute Custodian

School Facilities Maintenance Specialists with ESS are responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of school buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintenance duties such as repairing and replacing fixtures, and performing routine checks on heating and cooling systems
• Cleaning school buildings, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms
• Delivering supplies and materials to classrooms and other areas of the school
• Grounds keeping duties, including mowing grass, trimming shrubs, and removing snow and ice

A typical day may involve working independently or collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
