About the Role

The US Navy Reserve is seeking highly skilled Electronics Technicians to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining combat readiness across a wide variety of complex ship and aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Detect and track enemy planes and ships, and determine target distance
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate all electronic equipment used to detect, track, and identify adversaries, and for electronic countermeasures
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate electronic equipment including radar, communications, and navigation equipment
  • Use and maintain hand tools and portable power tools

Qualifications and Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or equivalent
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 17 years of age or older

Work Environment

Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Sailors in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
