Cloud Computing Strategist

We're seeking a Cloud Computing Strategist to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Core Services and Advanced Compute team.

About the Role

As a Cloud Computing Strategist, you will work directly with our largest and most innovative customers to help them deliver their software and services with Graviton Instances. You will also work directly with our largest and most innovative customers to help them deliver the most reliable, cost-effective, and secure compute infrastructure. Additionally, you will work closely with ARM, Annapurna Labs, and our services teams to ensure our customers get the best price/performance out of our Graviton instances.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
  • Guide and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.
  • Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
  • Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Computing Strategist with a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and infrastructure. You should have:

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
