Key Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures associated with the role.
  2. Understand and execute responsibilities as outlined in the Counselor's Handbook and organizational policies.
  3. Complete and maintain all necessary clinical documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
  4. Facilitate group sessions across various phases as per program guidelines and organizational policies.
  5. Conduct case management for each client as required.
  6. Participate in all staff meetings and scheduled clinical sessions.
  7. Pursue certification as a CAP and/or engage in necessary training to maintain certification annually.
  8. Be available for emergency counseling sessions during shifts.
  9. Work flexible shifts to ensure adequate coverage as per contractual and policy requirements.
  10. Utilize the company time and attendance system for clocking in and out.
  11. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  12. Attend all mandatory training sessions as specified by policy.
  13. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  14. Report any workplace injuries to the appropriate supervisor or administrator immediately.
  15. Notify supervisors of any breaches of company policy or ethical standards.
  16. Report unsafe conditions that may impact clients or staff promptly.
  17. Demonstrate organizational skills and effective communication to be considered for supervisory roles.
  18. Complete supervisory/team building training to qualify for promotion to supervisory positions.
  19. Perform additional related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications

Experience: Must meet the necessary standards for CAC and/or possess two years of experience in chemical dependency, or meet the standards for CAP with three years of experience in the field.

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is required.
