Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures associated with the role.
- Understand and execute responsibilities as outlined in the Counselor's Handbook and organizational policies.
- Complete and maintain all necessary clinical documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate group sessions across various phases as per program guidelines and organizational policies.
- Conduct case management for each client as required.
- Participate in all staff meetings and scheduled clinical sessions.
- Pursue certification as a CAP and/or engage in necessary training to maintain certification annually.
- Be available for emergency counseling sessions during shifts.
- Work flexible shifts to ensure adequate coverage as per contractual and policy requirements.
- Utilize the company time and attendance system for clocking in and out.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions as specified by policy.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Report any workplace injuries to the appropriate supervisor or administrator immediately.
- Notify supervisors of any breaches of company policy or ethical standards.
- Report unsafe conditions that may impact clients or staff promptly.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and effective communication to be considered for supervisory roles.
- Complete supervisory/team building training to qualify for promotion to supervisory positions.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Experience: Must meet the necessary standards for CAC and/or possess two years of experience in chemical dependency, or meet the standards for CAP with three years of experience in the field.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services is required.
