We are a growing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership in Big Stone Gap, VA.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles, as well as leasing options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine each customer's vehicle needs and wants by asking questions and listening.
- Demonstrate vehicles including test drives.
- Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc.
- Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
- Introduce customers to Service Department personnel for future maintenance and service.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in other industries is highly preferred.
- Prior auto sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid in-state driver's license and good driving record.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Virginia Salesperson License from the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB).
Compensation:
We offer an aggressive, commission-based pay plan with front and back pay. Our manufacturers' bonus plan ensures additional income opportunities. Other benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, and company-provided training and education.
