THE ROLE

As a Culinary Artist, your primary responsibility will be to expertly apply your culinary skills. You will enhance the guest experience with your friendly demeanor and exceptional service. By recognizing their individual stories and preferences, you will create memorable moments that guests will cherish long after their visit.

COMPENSATION: $

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of food products and proficiently apply culinary methods
  • Identify and utilize kitchen tools safely
  • Replenish kitchen supplies and food items necessary for service
  • Accurately label and date products to ensure safety and hygiene
  • Maintain comprehensive menu knowledge and focus on detail in plate presentation
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership and team members to execute service
  • Exhibit solid knowledge and preparation of foundational sauces, stocks, and soups
  • Work collaboratively, addressing all guest needs and inquiries

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a fully operational kitchen
  • 1+ years of experience as a Cook in a similar dining environment
  • Formal culinary education

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

  • Proficient in measurements and various cooking techniques
  • Skilled in knife handling and familiar with standard kitchen equipment, including toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, and smallwares
  • Knowledgeable about health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all business contacts
