We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care in diagnostic, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Mammography, and Interventional procedures.
- Perform nursing patient assessment in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient data while in the radiology department.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient physiologic monitors and perform emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
- Instruct and aid in the training of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine students in clinical nursing practices.
- Participate in rotating standby call for interventional procedures.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledgeable in handling controlled medications in Radiology according to hospital protocol.
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in a critical care unit, including experience in monitoring patient's vital signs, including cardiac rhythms.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Science in Nursing.
