Job Description

As a Customer Service Specialist at Food Lion, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers. This includes greeting each customer with a smile, unloading groceries from carts, and handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service to customers through the achievement of Food Lion customer service standards.
  • Assist the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Customer Service Manager in maintaining standards according to Front End Standard Practice Manual.
  • Maximize sales through excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to use computers, smart devices, and other communication systems required to perform job functions.
  • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
  • Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs continuously, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs on occasion.
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
