At Sky Jet Services, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Maintenance Inspector to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance and inspection. As a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough primary and receiving inspections of aircraft components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Audit work packages to verify proper completion and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct continuity inspections to ensure that repaired items meet quality standards.
  • Write up discrepancies and research technical data as needed to resolve issues.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical data accurately to ensure correct maintenance procedures.
  • Adhere to safety procedures at all times and take actions to preserve company assets.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in large transport aircraft maintenance.
  • 20/25 near vision in at least one eye (corrected or uncorrected).
  • Familiarity with FAA FARs and ability to interpret technical data.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with at least 50 hours per week.
  • Familiarity with GenFams B777, B787, B757, B767, MD11, B737-800/900/Max.
  • Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak).
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
