Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team in Bakersfield, California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
  • Assess patient needs and develop effective imaging plans
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and files, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of California
  • Advanced Certification in CT (ACCT) preferred
