As a Flight Nurse with Air Methods LLC, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality critical care to patients in need. This position requires a strong background in emergency nursing, with a focus on critical care and transport medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality critical care to patients in need, including assessment, triage, and treatment.
- Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for the safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility.
- Carry out the mission and goals of Air Methods LLC, ensuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
- Maintain thorough patient care documentation and communicate effectively with medical teams and facilities.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transport.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/ local EMS regulations.
- Pre-hospital experience preferred.
- Flight experience is not required but is a plus.
