Job Summary

As a Flight Nurse with Air Methods LLC, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality critical care to patients in need. This position requires a strong background in emergency nursing, with a focus on critical care and transport medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality critical care to patients in need, including assessment, triage, and treatment.
  • Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for the safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility.
  • Carry out the mission and goals of Air Methods LLC, ensuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
  • Maintain thorough patient care documentation and communicate effectively with medical teams and facilities.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transport.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/ local EMS regulations.
  • Pre-hospital experience preferred.
  • Flight experience is not required but is a plus.
