Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of civil engineering analyses and design tasks, including roadway design, grading, site planning, zoning assessments, storm-water management, utility coordination, and ADA compliance.
  • Facilitate coordination and presentation of submissions to local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and planning boards.
  • Perform site assessments to document existing conditions.
  • Prepare and review design calculations; assist in the creation of drawings and specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure high-quality engineering services.
  • Conduct construction inspections and address issues that arise during the construction administration phase.
  • Utilize a range of technical and project management skills on projects of varying scales, from small restorations to large new constructions.
  • Participate in professional industry events.
  • Assist in the development of technical standards and mentor junior engineering staff.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification is required; NJ PE certification is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with code requirements and their application.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
