About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Salt Lake City, UT.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to patient needs in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a surgical setting
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions
  • Proficiency in PC skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and lift equipment as needed
