Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waxing Specialist to join our team at European Wax Center. As a Waxing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional waxing services to our guests, educating them on the benefits of regular waxing, and promoting our exclusive product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality waxing services with a positive attitude.
  • Educate guests on the benefits of regular waxing and our exclusive product line.
  • Highlight the advantages of regular waxing and Wax Pass savings.
  • Inform guests of ongoing promotions.
  • Build and maintain professional guest relationships.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the wax suite.
  • Drive retention through pre-booking and guest referrals.
  • Achieve and surpass individual and center goals.
  • Adhere to schedules set by management and fulfill availability commitments.
  • Manage schedule changes proactively to ensure guest appointments are unaffected.
  • Follow all company policies and maintain workplace cleanliness.
  • Participate in marketing events and training sessions as required.
Requirements
  • Valid Esthetician or Cosmetology License as per state/local law.
  • Eager to learn new waxing techniques and perform a comprehensive range of waxing services.
  • Flexibility to work various days and hours, including weekends.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Capable of working independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Must be 18+ or older.
Physical Demands and Environmental Factors

This role requires continuous standing, walking, frequent lifting, reaching, occasional sitting, and carrying. The work environment is fast-paced and indoor, with occasional outdoor tasks and variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Tools, Equipment, and Work Aids

The usage of cash registers, cleaning tools, office and computer equipment is required. Maintenance tasks may be required.

Shifts: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 2:00PM) and/or (2:00PM - 8:30PM), Saturday 8:30AM - 5:00PM / 10:00AM - 6:30PM, Sunday 10:00AM to 6:30PM. Weekend availability for Saturday or Sunday is required.
