ICON MEDICAL NETWORK is seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become an integral part of our healthcare team.
Position Overview:
This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals with a passion for cardiothoracic surgery to engage in a dynamic clinical environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current and valid Washington State License.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery as an ARNP or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in Cardiac and/or Endovascular vein harvesting is preferred.
- Engagement in robotic-assisted procedures, minimally invasive thoracic and cardiac surgeries, and endoscopic radial harvest is part of the role.
- Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting is required.
- Experience managing ICU patients, including ventilator support and intravenous drips.
- Certification in CPR/BLS and ACLS (or the ability to obtain certification).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with open radial harvest is desirable, though training will be provided.
- Familiarity with robotic thoracic and cardiac surgery is advantageous, with training available for the right candidate.
