Music Educator

We are seeking a highly qualified Music Educator to join our team at Hunter Elementary School. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for instructing students in music, creating a positive and effective learning environment, and providing strong academic, social, physical, and emotional growth for all students.

• Instruct students in music, including vocal and instrumental music
• Create a positive and effective learning environment that promotes student growth and development
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success

• Must possess or be able to obtain a State of Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master teaching certificate with a music endorsement
• Working knowledge of the voice at the elementary school level
