San Francisco, California, United States Astranis Full time

Astranis is a pioneering company that aims to bridge the digital divide by connecting people worldwide who lack internet access. We're building the next generation of smaller, more cost-effective spacecraft to bring the world online.

As a team, we've achieved significant milestones, including launching two satellites into orbit, signing commercial deals worth over $1 billion in revenue, and recruiting a team of over 300 world-class engineers. We work out of our San Francisco office, which was once used to build ships during the World Wars.

Our satellites operate from geostationary orbit (GEO) and weigh only 400 kg. Each satellite can connect over two million people, and we're excited about the impact we'll soon have in various countries.

Backed by substantial funding and a passionate team, we offer a rewarding work environment where you'll learn and make a significant impact, regardless of your career stage.

This role is part of our Associate program, which typically lasts for twelve weeks and is designed for new grads and graduate students who have completed their Bachelor's degree.

As an Associate, you'll have the opportunity to work on hard problems and contribute to meaningful projects, regardless of your seniority. You'll collaborate with the Production team to analyze and interpret large datasets related to production quality, develop dashboards and metrics to identify trends, and support the implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance overall production quality.

Key requirements for this role include currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and knowledge of programming languages.

Bonus requirements include previous internship or coursework experience in a similar role, familiarity with quality management systems, and understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.

The base salary for this position is $1750 per week.
