Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, a renowned healthcare institution in Las Vegas and the Southwest region, is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist III - Special Procedures to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled professional who can provide high-quality imaging services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. As a Medical Imaging Specialist III, you will work closely with radiologists during special procedures, exercising professional judgment and maintaining medical ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential to successful completion of procedures
  • Assisting radiologists during special procedures
  • Applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment
  • Maintaining a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Documented competence specific to special procedures as a radiographer (minimum 2 years)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and advanced certification ARRT (VI)
  • Licensed by the State of Nevada in Radiography
