Job Summary

The Plant Sanitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the production area. This includes performing daily cleaning tasks, operating equipment, and reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Operate industrial vacuums and powered scrub machines to clean spills and remove debris
  • Use cleaning agents and equipment to sanitize equipment and infrastructure
  • Report any issues, such as leaks or damage, to the supervisor
  • Communicate with supervision on safety, equipment function, and inventory of supplies
  • Support plant high performance culture and continuous improvement programs
  • Comply with all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs
  • Perform area housekeeping duties
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Food Safety Requirements

Must comply with all Federal, State, Corporate, Warehouse and Food Safety standards, policies, and guidelines
