About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Prototype Machinist to join our team at Sherpa Design. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate CNC machines to produce complex parts with high accuracy and precision.
  • Develop and implement efficient machining processes to meet production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in CNC machining.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
  • Strong knowledge of CAM software, preferably NX CAM.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
