Job Summary

This position is a clinical psychologist role within the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, providing mental health services to veterans. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, delivering high-quality care to patients with a range of mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients.
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working with patients with mental health disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
