Night Auditor

The Guest Services Associate is responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they check out. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Balance accounts from day shift
• Manage front desk activity and handle guest check-ins and check-outs
• Ensure customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference
• Handle customer requests and complaints
• Manage and update all official documentation pertaining to the role
• Ensure that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
• Answer calls and queries related to potential booking
• Make reservations, review previous shift work, and monitor transportation to and from airport for guests
• Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts, food and beverage revenue, and telephone revenue; assist in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues
• Handle cash and credit card transactions

This role is an important part of the operation, and the Guest Services Associate needs to be able to handle all activities during their shift and pass on information to 1st shift before leaving as well as collecting any important information from the previous shift as they take over. Must be reliable and arrive 10 minutes before shift.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
