Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at SSM Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collect and analyze data to determine the diagnosis or issues, and develop individualized plans to promote health and a safe practice environment.
  • Implement and coordinate care to meet the needs of patients, including education and support for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
