We have two positions available: General Family Medicine Core Faculty and Obstetric Family Medicine Core Faculty.
Mercyhealth is an award-winning, multi-regional, integrated health system with 7 hospitals, over 700 employed physicians, and more than 85 outpatient clinics. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, and much more.
Opportunity Highlights- Craft your outpatient practice and share your expertise precepting residents.
- Backup call only
- Epic EHR
- Newborn rounding (in rotation with other faculty members)
- Admitting hospital is Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside, opened in 2019 with state-of-the-art accommodations and equipment.
- MD/DO Board Certified
- Residency training from an ACGME accredited family medicine program
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
- A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting
- Skilled in providing exceptional care for all ages
- Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is desired, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Paid CME, malpractice, and licensure
- Excellent health, dental, and vision insurance for Physician and family
