Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the success of our dental practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during various treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Take dental x-rays and prepare patients for exams.
  • Set up and break down operatory equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow to ensure seamless care.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote good oral health.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
  • Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
  • Support patient charting for doctors and perform various office tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
