Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the success of our dental practice.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists during various treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Take dental x-rays and prepare patients for exams.
- Set up and break down operatory equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow to ensure seamless care.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote good oral health.
- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
- Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
- Support patient charting for doctors and perform various office tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
