We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital's Southern Jamaica Plain Health Center. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to a select patient population, including physical examinations and preventive health measures.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests to assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including medication management and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with primary care pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nurse practitioner guidelines and monitoring requirements.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree required.
- Completion of a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) required.
- Valid prescriptive authority from both MA DPH and Federal DEA required.
- Current APRN License to practice in Massachusetts required.
- Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Primary Care setting required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
