Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Allied Universal. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security services to protect people and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols (interior and/or exterior) to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Compose reports and maintain accurate records of incidents and security-related activities.
  • Detain and apprehend individuals who pose a threat to the facility or its occupants.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and concerns from employees, visitors, and clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of civilian law enforcement or military experience.
  • Active Level 3 Commission license and valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or combat arms.
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy or verified work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field.
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies.
