Orthopedic Physician Assistant Specialist

Atrium Health is a leading community-focused academic healthcare system serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Our Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Urgent Care team in the Greater Charlotte Market is seeking full-time Physician Assistants to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in providing exceptional patient care, with expertise in musculoskeletal urgent care, joint reductions, splinting, bracing, casting, orthopedic injections/aspirations, and local wound care. They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to independently interpret x-rays and advanced diagnostic imaging.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient urgent care setting
- Perform joint and/or fracture reductions, splinting, bracing, casting, orthopedic injections/aspirations, and local wound care
- Independently interpret x-rays and advanced diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Approved to practice as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required; Masters Degree preferred
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred
- Must have or be eligible for a DEA license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration date greater than 90 days from date of beginning practice
