Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Aureus Medical Group. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examination, positioning them according to physician orders, and operating CT equipment and accessories to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
  • Position patients according to physician orders, taking into account their medical history and any special requirements
  • Operate CT equipment and accessories, including scanners, injectors, and contrast agents
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment, working closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate results
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT procedures, protocols, and techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment and supplies, up to 50-100 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
