This position is available on a PRN basis at our facility. We are seeking a committed Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients across various age groups. Key responsibilities encompass administering inhalation therapies, managing ventilators, assessing treatment effectiveness, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients in executing their treatment plans
  • Assess the effectiveness of respiratory therapies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments
  • Ensure the safe operation of respiratory equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients on the proper use of respiratory treatments

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited AMA program
  • Preferred experience of at least 1 year
  • Current registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Valid Illinois State license as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively
