Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annually.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Program Supervisor will oversee the daily operations and performance of the Thompson Placement Stability Unit (TPSU). This role involves leading a team dedicated to supporting youth in the custody of the Department of Social Services (DSS) who face challenges related to placement stability.
Primary Duties Include:
- Providing proactive coaching and feedback to promote the professional development of team members.
- Establishing program objectives, defining roles, and prioritizing tasks for the team.
- Ensuring effective communication across all levels to meet program needs.
- Recruiting and selecting high-quality candidates for program staff.
- Conducting thorough performance assessments of team members.
- Addressing performance issues and making necessary personnel changes.
- Fostering a collaborative and trusting work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process.
- Maintaining adherence to internal and external standards for documentation and service delivery.
- Acting as a role model for professionalism and teamwork within the organization.
- Responding to client and guardian concerns effectively.
- Serving as a liaison between Thompson, DSS, and other key stakeholders.
- Delivering services in accordance with the TPSU four-phase model.
- Providing a comprehensive suite of services, including 24/7 on-call support.
Successful leaders in this role will prioritize:
- Achieving results through the success of their team.
- Demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Focusing on annual planning, performance management, and team development.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License and meet any necessary credentialing and licensing standards. A Master's degree is required, along with residency within a specified radius to facilitate meetings with staff and stakeholders. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- A minimum of three years of experience in Child Welfare or a related Human Services field.
- A Master's degree with active licensure in North Carolina as an LMFT, LPA, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist.
- Experience in leadership or management roles, including project management or training.
- Demonstrated potential for growth and development as a leader, with relevant experience working with children and families.
