ROLE OVERVIEW:

Your primary responsibility is to ensure a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and attend to the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will deliver direct care as assigned, following the resident's care plan and directives from your Supervisor. Additional tasks may be assigned by community representatives. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while maintaining the standards of practice established by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing, compliant with state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (16 years old if currently enrolled in high school).
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directions effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling duties.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
