Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including daily and monthly financial statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and presentation.
• Provide value-added reporting and analytics to management to inform business decisions.
• Work closely with supervisory roles to ensure accuracy of department financials during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Perform bank reconciliations, rebate processing, account analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations, as well as cross-departmental training.
• Assist the VP of Finance with forecasts and budgets as necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience or work towards an accounting degree.
