Job Title: Feedyard Cowboy/Pen Rider

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a skilled and experienced Feedyard Cowboy/Pen Rider to join our team in a Nebraska Feedyard.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in animal health and feeding. The successful candidate will be responsible for spotting, pulling, diagnosing, and treating sick cattle, as well as performing other tasks as needed in the feedlot.

Responsibilities:
  • Spot and diagnose sick cattle
  • Treat and care for sick cattle
  • Perform other tasks as needed in the feedlot
  • Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in animal health and feeding
  • Doctoring skills required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
