Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient medical history and laboratory values to determine eligibility for PICC placement
  • Insert PICC lines and med line IV catheters, confirming placement via x-ray and documenting procedures
  • Develop and implement interventions to address IV-related patient care issues
  • Provide patient education on PICC insertion and post-insertion care and maintenance
  • Collaborate with facility nurses and staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1-2 years of Acute Care experience required; 1-2 years of Critical Care experience preferred
